Talking Timber is a theatre company consisting of Josephine Kylén Collins (SE), Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass (NO), Piet Gitz-Johansen (DK), Hanna Reidmar (SE) and producer Erik Nathorst-Böös (SE).
The members started out in different artistic fields; installation art, visual theatre, photography and dance. After attending The Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad, Norway they've now put their strengths together building their own unique language within the stage arts. Talking Timber are always searching for new directions in their working processes making constant shifts in their theatrical motivations and structures. They're working with focus on the meeting point between physical expression and the element of space, creating a visual language where comedy and tragedy go hand in hand.
